    About the Program

Do you need a day of CLE that will enable you to keep abreast of the latest developments in legal ethics? THIS IS IT. Legal Ethics is not limited to the rules of professional conduct and is not limited to the disciplinary process. Problems in the law of lawyering arise equally in:

    • conflicts of interest and disqualification
    • definition of the practice of law
    • fees and marketing
    • judicial discipline and ethics

We have assembled some of the region's foremost experts on legal ethics and asked them to put together a program that will give you information on the most important developments in legal ethics that have occurred during the past turbulent year, whether your practice is civil or criminal, litigation or transactions.

      Program Chairperson

Karen Boxx, associate professor, University of Washington School of Law, teaches estate planning, trusts and estates, professional responsibility, community property and federal taxation. She is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
